• Pay Schedules Payroll Sync‍
  Pay schedules in the Employment Hero HR Platform are now managed via the Employment Hero Payroll Platform. Once an organisation has connected its Employment Hero HR instance to the Employment Hero Payroll Platform, any changes to pay schedules on the payroll platform will be automatically synchronised to the HR platform. This includes create, update, delete and restore actions.
  
  
• ‍Locations Payroll Sync‍
  Cost centres in the Employment Hero HR Platform are now managed via the Employment Hero Payroll Platform. Once an organisation has connected its Employment Hero HR instance to the Employment Hero Payroll Platform, any changes to cost centres on the payroll platform will be automatically synchronised to the HR platform. This includes create, update, delete and restore actions.

• Expense Categories Payroll Sync‍
  Expense categories in the Employment Hero HR Platform are now managed via the Employment Hero Payroll Platform. Once an organisation has connected its Employment Hero HR instance to the Employment Hero Payroll Platform, any changes to expense categories on the payroll platform will be automatically synchronised to the HR platform. This includes create, update, delete and restore actions.

What is it?

Introducing the “Import Self Setup Employees” feature, the latest improvement to ESS. This functionality will support the bulk import of employees who will be onboarded via ESS. A file template can be exported from the platform and filled out to include the details of the new employees. When this completed file is imported to the platform, employees will follow the same easy onboarding process as ‌it is today.

Why does it matter?

Last year, Keypay released an update which enhanced work type dropdowns to include headings for 'Your work types' and any relevant installed awards. This visibility only had timesheets (within the web app), rosters shifts, rules & reports. We are pleased to now also have this structure visible within WorkZone.

How does it work?

1. On your dashboard, click the downward arrow button beside "Add Employees" or "Start Employee Self Setup."
   
   
2. Click Import Self Setup Employees.
   
   
   
3. Click the small Export button.
   
   
4. Click the Download button to download our template.
   
   
5. Open the file on your computer and fill in the correct details.
   
   
6. Make sure to save the changes you made.
   
   
7. Go back to the payroll platform and click the Import button.
   
   
8. Click the Select File button.
   
   
   
   
9. Choose the file you edited.
   
   
10. Click the Confirm Upload button.
    
    
    
    
11. Click the OK button.

What is it?

Noahface now has capabilities to integrate with the Keypay rostering system. With real-time view into employee's rostered shifts, Noahface can restrict, allow and communicate about clock-ins based on each worker's shift for the current day.

Why does it matter?

This will allow Noahface to prevent workers from clocking in too early. For instance, if an employee is rostered to start a shift at 8 a.m., and the clock is configured with a 10 minute grace period, an employee who attempts to login at 7:49 will be denied, and will be prompted to return at 7:50 to clock in. 

An employee who attempts to clock in on a day when they are not scheduled at all will also be denied, and will see a message letting them know that they are not scheduled to work that day. 

Noahface will display the employee’s rostered shift as soon as the system identifies them. Once they are clocked in, the message on the clocking screen will display their end shift time.
