How to connect Pay Cat to ShiftCare

This article explains how to connect Pay Cat with ShiftCare using ShiftCare's native integration

ShiftCare Steps

ShiftCare's integration with Pay Cat allows you to:

Import your staff from Pay Cat into ShiftCare
Export your timesheets from ShiftCare into Pay Cat

Configuring Allowances

When setting up your allowances in ShiftCare, make sure their Type and Value fields (set on the “Account > Pay Items > Allowances” page in ShiftCare) match the table below:

Awake X (e.g. Awake 2)	One-off	Match the value in X (e.g. 2 represents 2 hours of wake up)	Work during a sleepover

Sleepover	Sleepover	N/A	Sleepover
24 Hour Care Shift	Override payitems	N/A	24 Hour Care Shift

Excursion	Override payitems	N/A	Excursion

Note: Any allowances with a Type of Override payitems can also be setup as a pay group instead (make sure to map each item in the pay group to the relevant work type)
