Importing Timesheets from Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series)

The Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series) import option will allow time and attendance data to be pulled directly from Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series). To use this option you must have a valid Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series) account.

Helpful Hint

Please note: you will need to enable time and attendance add on in Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series) first before importing the timesheets from Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series).

Set up in Lightspeed

To enable time and attendance in Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series) :

Enable

To begin the timesheet import process, select the clock from the left hand side menu: Timesheets>Import Timesheets:

NOTE: When importing timesheets from Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series), employee and location data needs to exist and match the data from the timesheets being imported. It is therefore recommended that you use the Import Employees functionality to ensure matching employees and locations can be determined.

When you select this option, the connection with Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series) will be verified. If you have not setup Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series) before or the connection is no longer valid, then you may setup the connection by following the "enable your connection" link which will redirect you to the Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series) site to authenticate and verify you wish this data to be made available.

Then you will be asked to verify you grant access to Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series) data, please ensure the correct Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series) company is selected.

Once access is granted you will be returned to the timesheet import page.
Specify the date range for the Lightspeed Restaurant (O-Series) shifts that are to be imported.
The 'Approve timesheets' option is to determine whether the timesheets are automatically approved or whether they should go through the standard timesheet approval workflow. Click Import to begin the process.
Once the process is complete you will be given the option to import more timesheets or proceed to the timesheet approval section.
