Is it possible to use the Noahface Kiosk and the Noahface Go App on the same day?

Noahface Kiosk and Noahface Go App interoperability

It is possible for an employee to use both the NoahFace App (kiosk use) and the NoahFace Go App (mobile use), even on the same day, within certain constraints as follows:

  • If a user clocks on at a kiosk, the NoahFace Go App does not immediately know they have done this. However, as soon as they either:
    • Bring the NoahFace Go App to the foreground,
    • Re-start the NoahFace Go App, or
    • Pull down the Activity / Events list in the NoahFace Go App their status will be refreshed. The fact that the status refreshes when the App is brought to the foreground is usually sufficient for seamless operation.
  • If a user clocks on using NoahFace Go, then they will be able to clock off using a kiosk provided that kiosk is operating in “Manual” mode. If the kiosk is operating in “Auto” mode or “No Touch” mode, then the kiosk won’t be aware that the user has clocked on elsewhere.
