Allowance Description
Where an employer does not provide all tools necessary for a tradesperson to perform their work,a tradesperson will be paid $17.50 per week (except for a carpenter or joiner who must be paid $33.12 per week) extra for supplying and maintaining tools ordinarily required in the performance of their work as a tradesperson.

What to pay

$0.87 per hour up to a maximum of $33.12 per week

Notes

This allowance is paid for employees providing their own tools. The assumption is that the employee would spend the allowance on replacing their tools from time to time
