NoahFace announces integration with Microsoft's Power BI

NoahFace has recently brought a new integration to their facial recognition time and attendance system, enabling clocking events and data to flow through to Microsoft’s Power BI.

Microsoft Power BI is a popular Business Intelligence platform that can accept data from multiple sources so that you can generate reports and dashboards that visualize this data.

This can open up a realm of reporting possibilities, particularly for those running NoahFace as a standalone time and attendance platform. A common requirement for modern businesses is to be able to analyse labour and costings, and now with the ability to capture time and attendance data into a comprehensive intelligent report builder, you can only imagine the possibilities this could mean for your operations.

The integration is explained well with detailed technical notes published by NoahFace and can be read here.

The process is achieved by creating a Streaming Data Set within Microsoft BI, configuring an API within Power BI using Noahface's open API, and then copying the generated Push URL into a Notification instance in NoahFace.

Once configured, NoahFace will automatically add all user events to your Microsoft Power BI Dataset.
