Allowance Description

An employer must pay an employee who is requested to stay overnight on the employer’s premises in order to provide prompt assistance to guests outside ordinary business hours an allowance of $59.70 per overnight stay. 

If the employer performs more than one hour in duration during an overnight stay, they must receive an additional at 150% of the ordinary hourly rate.
