An engine driver, engaged inside the gas or water space of any boiler, flue or economiser, in cleaning or scraping work must be paid an allowance of $2.31 per hour while so employed.
The allowance is paid instead of the special rates for hot places, wet places, confined spaces, dirty work or boiler repairs.
$2.31 per hour
This allowance is based on a working condition or a disability as part of working a shift.
